THE ORIGINAL BORDER PATROL AUXILIARY
FAQ AREA:
Q; I would like to make a donation to support the efforts of BPAUX, can I have strings attached to my donation that allow me to direct where the funds will go?
A; No, if you want to donate like that find another organization! We use all donations to the best of our ability and find that people who want “Strings Attached” really want more control of the organization.
Q; I have a problem following leaders, can I do operations on my own without letting any National Leadership know I am doing it?
A; Absolutely NOT! NEVER, and if you do you will be terminated from the organization.
Q; I make a large donation to buy equipment, can I be part of the leadership team or have a high ranking position?
A; Absolutely NOT! Members who want to donate to BPAUX are encouraged to purchase their OWN equipment and bring it to operations for others to use without any “Strings Attached” New members are on a 6 month probation period, if you cannot be a team player during operations or don’t want to communicate what you are doing with National Leadership you will be removed from the organization and you can go someplace else.
Q; How is BPAUX involved with building fences at our nations borders?
A; BPAUX is not in the business of building fences, nor does BPAUX intend to build any fencing, this is a federal government concern and should be addressed to those in the government who are responsible for this and to the contractors who build them.
Q; How politically involved is or will BPAUX be?
A; BPAUX has absolutely no intention of getting into any political arenas, nor will BPAUX or any of it’s leadership endorse any politician on behalf of BPAUX, or in public. Members & leaders have the right to their own personal beliefs, but these opinions’ will not be expressed on behalf of BPAUX by any one in BPAUX.
Q; How can BPAUX carry guns?
A; Under the laws of each state citizens are allowed to carry certain legal firearms on most every BLM property and with permission from property owners along the borders.
Q; How is BPAUX connected to groups like the American Red Cross, Boy Scouts, or minutemen groups?
A; BPAUX is a private “Auxiliary” and is not connected to any organization.
Q; Are members of BPAUX members of any “Supremacists” groups or “Militias”, “Skinheads” “KKK” ?
A; Contrary to what some (Open Borders) internet sites say about BPAUX members are from all walks of life, we have members from law enforcement, retired border patrol agents, small businessmen, school teachers, retired military, leaders in boy scouts, leaders in the Red Cross. Our interview process before membership filters out any person who we feel may have any racist tendencies toward any race, religion, or nationality. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination at all, and if found it would cause immediate termination from the Auxiliary. No member of BPAUX can be involved in any racially orientated group and participate in BPAUX. If you have these tendencies BPAUX is not the organization for you! If you cannot follow directions or you are not a TEAM player, looks someplace else! We do not tolerate “Rouge” individuals who cannot work with our leadership team.
Q; Where will my membership dues go?
A; Membership dues go to the expense of a criminal background check approx; $14.00, ID badge $2.50, and the rest into the bank to be used for the effort at this time, that is the extent of the accounting process.
Q; Who is on the BPAUX leadership team?
A; BPAUX leadership consists of a wide variety of people in the community, backgrounds from small business owners to teachers, to retired military and other private sector groups. At this time it is pre-mature to post actual names of these individuals and for personnel reasons some leaders may opt out of having this information online for security reasons, at which time this information will be made available to those who seek it on a one on one basis with the leadership’s approval.
Q;Is BPAUX affiliated with the Department of Homeland Security?
A;No.
Q;What kind of training can I expect if I actively participate in neighbourhood/border watch activities?
A;BPAUX offers the DHS training for citizen watch groups. There is no charge for this training for BPAUX members. Additionally, BPAUX members can receive training in Cyber Watch, Marine Watch and in firearms safety, first aid, search and rescue and disaster preparedness. The Red Cross for certain certifications like “Professional Rescuer” charges nominal fees.
Q;Do I have to participate actively?
A; NO BPAUX is an “association”. Individuals can be card carrying “Associate Members” or take specific training to advance through field operations. The individual’s level of participation is entirely up to them.
Q; Will I be paid for working in the field?
A; No. BPAUX deploys members interested in homeland security and safety in their communities. There are no paid positions at this time.
Q; Does BPAUX co-operate with all law enforcement agencies?
A; Yes, we share all our information about our operations and the data we gather with any agency who asks for it.
Q; If I am at an operation and have expenses can I submit them to BPAUX for reimbursement without any receipts'?
A; Well, if you are working for a company and you incur expenses would they accept a blanket invoice or demand for reimbursement without any proof? So the answer is NO. It is best to plan ahead in every operation by keeping the National Leadership Team advised of potential expenses (A budget is highly recommended PRIOR to all operations that will have expenses) Those expenses must be pre-approved by National Leadership Team PRIOR to any operation to make sure adequate funding is available and to review the potential expenses. Remember, Lack of Planning on your part does NOT constitute Panic on our part! Act responsibly and we will work with you on your budget.
Q;I want to start a Sector in my own community. How do I do that?
A; We are always looking for sharp leaders interested in helping their communities. Please send an email to membership@BPAUX.org
Also there is information in the forum on how to start a sector, it must have the approval of the National Leadership Team prior!
Q: Does BPAUX Sell arms to MEXICO or any other foreign nation or to anyone in the USA?
A; Contrary to what you may read online at some open borders web sites BPAUX does not, nor ever has sell or sold any type of Arms to anyone, that would require a license or to do it illegally, which we will never do.
Q: I have filled in the application, but nobody has gotten back to me! When can I expect to hear from someone in leadership?
A: Applications are reviewed on a first in first out basis. If your application is missing your dues payment, we will send you a E-Mail that states what the holdup is and provide you means to complete your part of the membership application. Then when this is complete we will review the materials, do the background check, do the vetting call if necessary, and send you your information and access to the web site where all the membership information is kept.
Q: There are 2 corporations in Arizona called BORDER PATROL AUXILIARY, is this group associated with those companies?
A: NO! Those companies were started by EX members who have left BPAUX or who were terminated and who have decided to use the name (Which is unethical) . We do not condone any activities conducted by any members of those organizations at all and local law enforcement agencies have been advised of them.
Q: I am currently a BPAUX member and I am now being asked to provide my membership information all over again! Can you please explain why this is happening?
A: Of course we can. From time to time we will revise our membership information for the protection of the organization by including something that we have recently incorporated as a policy and we need all members to acknowledge they have read and understood the information and we keep it on file for future references.
Q: Does BPAUX refund dues to members?
A: Simple answer is no, just like any other organization.
Q: If I decide to purchase a uniform and special equipment to do operations in my area and then decide that I want to leave BPAUX for any reason will BPAUX cover my expenses?
A: Simple answer No again. Your expenses are your burdens like in any other organization, not those of BPAUX.
It is necessary to complete your yearly dues prior to the background check, without this your application will not be processed.
